“He Knew About the Girls”: Epstein Emails Link Trump to Abuse Cover-Up
Leaked emails suggest Trump knew about Epstein’s victims years before his arrest, contradicting his public denials.
Donald Trump’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein isn’t just coming back to haunt him, it’s practically kicking down the door.
Explosive new emails released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee show Epstein telling Ghislaine Maxwell that Trump “knew about the girls” and even asked her to stop. These messages contradict Trump’s repeated claim that he “knew nothing” about Epstein’s crimes.
Republicans rushed to defend Trump, calling it a smear campaign, and the White House says it’s just another “false narrative.”
In one email from April 2011, Epstein wrote to Maxwell: “i want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump..[VICTIM REDACTED] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.” and Maxwell replied: “I have been thinking about that…”
Not exactly the kind of email you want surfacing when you’ve spent years pretending you barely knew the guy.
Then there’s the second email, dated January 2019, just months before Epstein’s arrest, where Epstein wrote to author Michael Wolff: “trump said he asked me to resign. never a member ever. of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”
To be clear, Trump wasn’t part of these exchanges. He hasn’t been accused of a crime here. But the implication that the President of the United States was aware of Epstein’s abuse long before his 2019 arrest raises serious questions about what Trump actually knew and when he knew it.
And it’s not just the emails. Epstein and Trump’s friendship goes back decades. Epstein was a regular at Mar-a-Lago. One of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre, even said she was working at the resort’s spa when she met Ghislaine Maxwell at age 17. Trump later told reporters, “He stole her,” referring to Epstein. Which, even if true, doesn’t exactly make Trump look innocent. It makes him sound like he knew exactly what was happening and was just mad someone else got there first.
It’s all very on brand for the creepy orange guy who bragged about walking into Miss Teen USA dressing rooms while underage girls were naked.
For years, Trump has tried to distance himself from Epstein, claiming they had a falling out “fifteen years ago” and that he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago. But Epstein’s own words, written long after their supposed break, suggest Trump’s version of events doesn’t hold up.
And that’s not the only uncomfortable part of this story.
Emails show Epstein and Michael Wolff, yes, that Michael Wolff, the Trump biographer behind Fire and Fury, were in close contact for years. In one 2015 email, Wolff wrote to Epstein the night of a Republican primary debate, warning that CNN was planning to ask Trump about his relationship with Epstein. Epstein’s reply: “If we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?” and Wolff’s answer was: “I think you should let him hang himself.”
Well, that’s one way to put it.
Epstein’s suggestion that Trump “knew about the girls” and Wolff’s willingness to strategize around it both show a disturbing level of coordination among powerful men who understood the stakes and each other’s leverage.
And that leverage may still be paying off.
Remember, Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s convicted accomplice, was quietly moved this summer from a Florida prison to a minimum-security camp in Texas, the lowest level in the federal system. No fences, dorm-style housing, barely any guards. Basically summer camp for sex traffickers.
Yes, you heard that right. Sources say she’s enjoying special privileges, including a puppy and personalized meals. This happened just days after she met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who also happens to be Trump’s former personal lawyer.
During that meeting, Maxwell claimed she didn’t recall ever seeing Trump at Epstein’s house and called him “a gentleman in all respects.” Convenient timing.
However, these newly released emails say otherwise.
But let’s not forget how we got here. Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 under mysterious circumstances while awaiting trial. Maxwell is now serving 20 years for recruiting and grooming young girls for his abuse, and she’s reportedly preparing to ask the president, Epstein’s old BFF, for a commutation. Which means we could soon see one of the most notorious enablers of sexual exploitation appealing directly to the man her former partner said “knew about the girls.”
The irony would be staggering if it weren’t so horrifying and for now, the emails leave us with one undeniable truth: Trump didn’t just “know” Epstein. Epstein thought Trump owed him.
And that’s the kind of relationship that never really dies, even when one of them mysteriously does.
