These indepth discussions are great. We need more of them. Two great commentators facing off presenting different views on the same topic. It clarifies our views and opinions when we embrace elements of both points of view. Some views are changed, some become more clear. Together we can change things where these discussions are made on the floors of the House and Senate where change really can become reality.

grow up and work. you will find that 7.5% of your salary is deducted and only 35 years are applied to those who worked over 50 years contributing to social security. Also, whatever 401K plan someone might own is totally controlled by Financials, who take cuts from your monies for their profit, as these companies tie up your ability to invest properly. When you are in your 70s, you will see the disparities of corporate-financial greed and you will be extremely angry because you were fooled by a dishonest system!

bull! Social Security paid for my parents, grandparents and great grandparents as I work my 50 full time years contributing and my companies' contributions! 50 years ago, there were 'profit sharing' that were not for all and work term requirements where most workers either did not qualify or did not fulfill over seven years

Enablers. That’s the word you are looking for, Democrats enable the MAGA Republican’s tantrums.

I'd be calling out Tim Kaine non-stop about the outrageous amount of data centers that have been allowed in that state!

Insurance is not a bet. It is a calculated decision to join with others to pay for the one who has misfortune.

So people can just let their blood pressure medicine just go cause it is not important to help stop heart attacks and strokes. Its frivolous?
